DARKSIDE SC
This is a club that has been setup for fellow Automatic Scooter Riders. Its original members used to be Traditional Scooter Riders and some still are, but they recognised that Automatic Scooters have there own qualities and began to Ride those aswell...hence the name the Darkside...they've come over to the Darkerside of scootering.
The Members, of which currently number well over a Hundred, come from all over the country, so unlike other Scooter Clubs this is a National Club for Scooterists. All are also welcome to Join no matter what kind of Scooter they ride.
Alot of Traditional Scooter Riders don't like the newer plastic fantastics (Auto-Twist and Go)...which is a shame because I'm sure if they had a go they would also come over to the Darkside.
The Automatic Scene of scootering is gradually becoming more and more accepted, it will never be as big as the Traditional Scooter scene on its own I don't think, but maybe one day will accepted as part of the whole scootering scene together.
For me its a way to meet people with the same interests as myself, a way of life maybe...who knows...but I will enjoy it for a long time to come.....
